Police Fire Teargas To Stop Protesters From Burning Shoprite In Abuja

Abuja – There is pandemonium at Lugbe along airport road Abuja as police fired teargas canister to stop the protesting youths from burning down a Shoprite outlet located in the area.

The protesters who are on the verge of setting the building ablaze were stopped by armed and anti-riot.

The youth have set a bonfire on the express road and vowed not to leave the area until they achieve their mission. More armed policemen have been deployed to the area to restore law and order.

Hundreds of motorists caught up in the fracas are stranded on the road as a vehicular movement in the area has been paralyzed.
