Nollywood's Alleged Phone Thief, Seun Egbegbe Granted Bail, Case Adjourned...See Details


 
We reported earlier today that popular Yoruba film-maker, Seun Egbegbe, the estranged lover of Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu, who was arrested at the popular Computer village in Ikeja on Tuesday for allegedly stealing iPhones, was arraigned in court by the Lagos State Police Command.
  
LIB had exclusively reported that the film-maker was officially charged to court by the Police earlier this morning at the Magistrate court in Ikeja, adding that the Lagos State Police PRO, Dolapo Badmus said: "After Discreet Police Investigation and two nights in custody, Seun Egbegbe has been charged to court for stealing."  
 
Encomium magazine who went to court to cover the proceedings, reported that the embattled movie producer who pleaded not guilty, has been granted bail.
 
"Alleged thief of 9 iPhone handsets, Seun Egbeegbe was arraigned before an Ikeja (Lagos) magistrate court earlier today (Thursday, November 24) – and was granted bail, with the case adjourned to February 8, 2017.
 
"The theft case against the movie marketer and socialite was before Mrs. A. J. Atunwa at Roseline Omotosho Court House in GRA Ikeja.
 
"The magistrate admitted the accused on bail, with two sureties who have N2 million in their account, and property in Ikeja area of Lagos.
 
"The controversial film maker was in a black and white baba and sokoto, with a blue and green pull over.
 
"He pleaded not guilty.
 
"It was unclear if he managed to perfect his bail conditions."
