Mo Salah fires back at Sergio Ramos over injury claims in UCL final

Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah, has laughed off recent comments by Sergio Ramos after the UEFA Champions League Final.

Salah suffered heartbreak in Kiev, when he was forced off in the first half with a shoulder injury, after a tussle with Real Madrid Skipper, Ramos.

Ramos recently claimed Mo Salah could have played on with a pain-killing injection, stating it is something he has done before himself. Though the Egyptian international has hit back at the Spaniard for the comments, He told Marca;

Ramos’ comments? It’s funny.

“My comment is that it’s always okay when the one who made you cry first, then makes you laugh.

“Maybe he could also tell me if I’m going to be ready for the World Cup?

“He sent me a message, but I never told him it was ‘okay.’ Was it a normal challenge? I don’t know. Maybe?

“When I fell to the ground, I had a mixture of physical pain and a lot of worry. Also anger and sadness for not being able to continue playing the Champions League final.

“Moments later, I also thought about the possibility of not playing in the World Cup and that was a devastating thought.”

The Egyptian national team are set to kick off their World CUp campaign against Uruguay, though it remains unlikely if Salah is going to feature.
