Shatta Wale Reveals He Prayed To God To Release Him From Jail

Ghanaian reggae-dancehall giant, Shatta Wale has revealed the toughest time in his life stating that he nearly got jailed.

He explained that he met a Jamaican girl in his area but didn’t know that she’s was a minor.

Speaking on YFM, with Rev. Erskine Whyte, he noted that he went out with the girl but came home not knowing the girl didn’t return.

According to him, he was arrested by the police and was in cells without having anyone to release him hence was about to be prepared for court.

Shatta Wale added that when he was in the cell, he prayed to God that if it’s planned that he will spend the rest of his life in bars then he has nothing to do but if he has a purpose outside then God should release him.

 

He indicated that he was cool with the girl’s family and they liked him but they felt disappointed in him for doing that.

The dancehall giant reveals that after 15 minutes of his prayers the girl’s family came to fight with the police that they should release him.

He disclosed that the girl was mature and big hence he didn’t know that she’s was a minor
