"Nobody Trusts Manchester City" - Pep Guardiola

Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola has claimed that no one trusts his team to win against Liverpool ahead of Thursday's clash.

MySportDab report City are seven points behind Liverpool and could fall even 10 points futher should they lose against the Reds today.

However, Pep Guardiola believes everyone are backing Liverpool to extend their advantage.

“I know today nobody trusts us but it is what it is,” said Pep.

“They are in the moment the best team in Europe, in the consistency, the way they control the details in their game. We are going to focus on what we have to do to win the game. Everyone is talking if we lose, but we can win.”

City were held to a goalless draw at Anfield in October, when Riyad Mahrez missed a late penalty to win it for the Champions.

“I cannot figure out what happened in the past is going to happen in the future,” he added.

“Every time we won a lot of games it doesn’t mean it will happen in the future. I have a feeling everyone can beat us but also that we can beat everyone. Last year we beat them 5-0 here. It is Liverpool, with [Manchester] United the best team in all England in history. We can beat them.”
