Banky W’s car finally auctioned – See who won the bid

Nigerian singer, actor and politician, Banky W’s car, a 2008 Range Rover SUV, has finally been sold through an auction that held yesterday in Lagos.

Recall that sometime in July, two ladies filmed and trolled the singer online for using an old model Range Rover after they spotted EME boss and his wife, Adesua Etomi, leaving a grocery store.

Both ladies called out the celebrity couple for living a ‘fake life’ but couldn’t afford a befitting car for their celebrity status.

But Banky who through an open letter, revealed he would be auctioning the vehicle off and donate the proceeds to charity.

He however announced early last week that the auction will hold on November 24th, which was yesterday.

The sale finally held and Head of Sony Music West Africa, Mr Michael Ugwu, won the bid to purchase the historic vehicle.

Specifications of the 4-wheel drive include Cruise Control, Rear Parking Aid, Universal Garage Door Opener, Keyless Entry, Heated Mirrors, 8 Cylinder Engine, Airbags, and Safety Features.
