NFF shops for new sponsors as Glo shuns new offer
The board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has mandated its Marketing, Sponsorship and Television Advisory Sub-Committee to open discussions with prospective partners for a new partnership agreement with the federation.
The decision, according to the federation, follows the refusal of the telecommunication giant, Globacom Nigeria Limited to renewing its sponsorship contract with the football governing body.
This was made known in a communique issued after the meeting of the NFF board in Uyo last Friday.
The NFF Board however commended the company for its wonderful service in support of Nigerian football for over 10 years, during which it enabled the growth of the game at different sectors and levels.
The Federation also challenged the senior women national team, Super Falcons and the U-20 women national team, Falconets, to give their all to do the nation proud in their respective upcoming international competitions.
