VIDEO: CARDI B ATTACKS NICKI MINAJ WITH SHOE AT FASHION WEEK PARTY

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj’s feud took center stage at New York Fashion Week.

Both rappers showed up at the Harper’s Bazaar’s ICONS party on Friday (Sept. 7). According to PEOPLE, Cardi arrived at the event first. After Nicki showed up, there was an “altercation” on the second-floor balcony during Christina Aguilera’s performance.


There are varying accounts of what led up to the incident. TMZ reports that Cardi said, “Let me tell you something” and lunged toward Nicki, but security stopped her from making contact. She then reportedly pulled off her shoe and threw it at Nicki, but missed. Cardi was escorted out of the building by security with one shoe on her foot and a lump on her forehead, while Nicki remained inside.

“She left barefoot with her dress ripped and butt out,” a source tells PEOPLE.



However, Cardi’s camp tells TMZ that she was not looking for a fight and just wanted “to address the lies Nicki was spreading.”

Videos of the incident surfaced on social media showing Cardi making a lunge towards someone, though it is not entirely clear if it is Minaj. However, Twitter commenters say it was Rah Ali, a “Love & Hip-Hop” star and friend of Minaj’s.

Following the incident, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted a message on Instagram directed at an unnamed foe. She claims the person tried to sabotage her career and also spoke ill about her daughter, Kulture Kiari.

“I’ve let a lot of s**t slide!” wrote Cardi. “I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f**k up the way I eat! You’ve threaten other artists in the industry, told them if they work with me you’ll stop fuckin with them!! I let you talk big shit about me!!”

She continued, “I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are fuckin off!! I’ve worked to hard and come too far to let anybody fuck with my success!!!! Bitches talk all that shit in they raps but in real life they pussy!! This shit really is for entertainment!!”
