‘I Will Always Protect You’ – Serena Williams Posts Heartwarming Note to Her Daughter

Today, the tennis champion took to her Instagram to write her daughter Alexis Olympia a heartwarming note in which she promised to protect the child.

“I will always protect you. I will always stand up for you. I will always guide you. I will always be with you. I was put here to be your mom,” said the proud mum in the photo which shows the baby daughter holding fast onto a tennis ball.

She continued, “I love you like nothing I’ve ever loved before. I thank Jehovah every day for you. Your momma.”

Williams has always shared her feeling about motherhood and how she is often guilted by the feeling that she has not been a good mum to her daughter because of the demands of her career.

However, she continues to show love to Olympia. “Although I have been with her every day of her life,” Williams wrote in a previous Instagram post. “I’m not around as much as I would like to be. Most of you moms deal with the same thing. Whether stay-at-home or working, finding that balance with kids is a true art.”

Now, she promises to protect the adorable child from the cruel world.
