Atiku, Davido, RunTown, DonJazzy reacts to the Lagos tanker fire


The Lagos tanker fire incident has left many people in shock. Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku, Davido, RunTown, DonJazzy took to social media to react to the incident.

Tragedy struck on yesterday at the Otedola Bridge after a petrol-laden tanker crashed and exploded.

No fewer than 54 cars and commercial vehicles driving behind the tanker on the road were said to have been gutted by fire, during which nine people were reportedly killed.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar expressed sadness over the petrol tanker fire on Otedola bridge along the Lagos-Ibadan

On Twitter he wrote;

“My thoughts are with the fellow Nigerians who have lost lives and property in the tanker fire in Lagos. My prayers go out to the first responders working hard to bring the blaze under control.”

Mavin CEO Donjazzy shared a video of the fire incident on his Instagram page and wrote;
💔 GOD is not happy with us as a country and we know why. What do we do now?

RunTown and Davido also called for prayers to be made for Nigeria.



The Lagos State Government also commiserated with families of victims who lost their lives and property in the fatal Lagos tanker fire explosion which occurred on Thursday evening on Otedola Bridge.

The incident, which occurred at about 5 pm yesterday, left scores of vehicles burnt while some lives were lost.

The Government, in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Kehinde Bamigbetan, described the incident as a sad development, saying that the incident was most unfortunate and regrettable.
