Davido reportedly lied about buying a private jet

News platform, Thecapitalng, in a new report debunked claims by Nigerian music star, Davido, that he bought a new private jet, making him one of the youngest owners of a private jet in the music industry.

According to the news platform, conceding prominence to the superstar singer in the private jet ownership is part of a business deal to make Davido very bankable in the showbiz industry. The report reads in full;

“Our source has exclusively revealed that what Davido went on air to announce is actually “fractional ownership” in which his financial commitment in the arrangement is meagre while the major financiers have chosen to play down their involvement to give Davido conceded prominence.

This arrangement is to present Davido as a viable brand with a view to cornering lucrative deals from multinational businesses, countries and other foreign entities.

Few days ago, Davido shared documents showing off the proof his newly bought private jet. The singer who took to Instagram to share photos of the document bragged about being one of the youngest Nigerians to own a jet.

On his Instagram story, the singer also revealed that the jet would arrive in two weeks. The excited singer also showed off photos of the jet.
