Femi Fani-kayode Blames Grace Mugabe For Her Husband Robert's Political Woes
Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has blamed the political woes of Zimbabwean President, Robert Mugabe on his "Jezebel wife" Grace Mubage. According Mr. Kayode, Mugabe's downfall began when his first wife died and he got married to Grace.
According to FFK;
The greatest tragedy of the Mugabe story is that he ended up with the wrong woman. Had Sally (his first wife) lived things would have been far better. Sadly she died and he ended up getting married to a demon-possessed Jezebel called Grace who has the spirit of Lady Macbeth.
It should be noted that Mr. Fani-Kayode's assertion has been echoed by some other political analyst and journalist, particularly Daily Nation News, Zimbabwe. According to them;
President Robert Mugabe's downfall was caused by the ambitions of his combative wife Grace, whose emergence as his likely successor proved a step too far for Zimbabwe's military, analysts say.
Grace Mugabe — 41 years younger than her husband — was once dismissed as a lightweight shopping addict. But she became increasingly active in public life in recent years, and became the frontrunner to take the top job when Mugabe last week sacked her arch-rival, vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The military — determined to stop Grace, 52, being named as the new vice president — moved in on Wednesday, taking control of the country and signalling the imminent end of Mugabe's rule.
